Terms and Conditions – Inspired by Script

We reserve the rights to change, alter and amend the following terms and conditions without prior notice. 

By placing an order with us, you agree and understand the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us by either telephone 01609 776 866 or email at BEFORE placing your order.

Please read carefully.


On-line orders must be paid for in full at the time of purchase. If you have difficulty using the on-line payment method, we can invoice you via Paypal or BACS Transfer. Please telephone for details.

All ‘Bespoke’ and Tailor Made items require a 50%, non-refundable deposit to cover the cost of buying in items for your order. This deposit must be paid before work will commence. 


A proof will be sent of your design and any insert for your approval and signing. Initial design work is free and the client is allowed one change also free of charge.

Any further and subsequent changes will be subject to a £20 charge for each subsequent change.

It is the clients responsibility to note any errors in spelling, punctuation and/or grammar so please check your proof very carefully!

Inspired by Script will not be held responsible for any mistakes whatsoever, once the proofs have been seen and signed off by the client.

Please ensure, therefore that everything is checked and double checked.


It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that all materials provided by the client for use with any bespoke stationery is ‘Copyright Free’  and Inspired by Script will not be held responsible for any infringement caused as a result of using such work. Please note this also includes Hymns, Poems and other written as well as drawn work and photography.

The copyright of all artwork, Stationery and associated goods belongs to Inspired by Script and cannot be reproduced by the client or a third party.

Inspired by Script reserves the right to use any stationery, photographs and/or designs made for the client for promotional purposes.


We endeavour to complete your order as soon as possible.

We aim to turn around your order within 3-6 working weeks. It is important that you (the client) understands that this is subject to change during busy periods, holiday time and circumstances beyond our control.

We will advise you of expected completion date once you have placed your order.

Rush orders needing completion before the given date are subject to a £40 ‘Rush Fee’.


Please remember all our goods are made by hand and as such, slight variations are to be expected, this is not a fault or defect, just part of the ‘Handmade’ quality and nature of the goods.

In the rare event that materials used in the sample become discontinued or unavailable, ‘Inspired by Script’ reserve the right to use a substitute. However, this will always be discussed and approved by the client before proceeding.

Please be aware that orders placed at separate times cannot guarantee continuity of either design, colour and/or materials.


All on-line orders, will be dispatched by Royal Mail and a ‘Proof of Posting’ will be obtained and sent via email to you. 

Our postage DOES NOT INCLUDE insurance and as such, if it is required by the client, the client is responsible for any costs incurred. Please telephone us to let us know of this request, so we can add it to your invoice. 

Once the parcel has left our hands, ‘Inspired by Script’ cannot be held  responsible for any lost or stolen parcels.

In the case of lost or stolen parcels please contact Royal Mail. 

We welcome callers to the studio during normal working hours. If you wish to collect your order please telephone first, to arrange a suitable time and day for collection.


Payment in full is required for orders requiring postage. We cannot refund any money once the order has started. Therefore it is imperative that you check and recheck your proofs before your order is placed.


In the unlikely event that your goods arrive faultily, Inspired by Script will replace the goods, without charge, on receipt of the faulty goods being returned in their entirety.  This is in accordance with Law.


We reserve the right to alter prices without prior noti

ce. Goods bought and paid for will be honoured at the price stated when purchased.

All email quotations for goods and/or services stand for 30 days after the date of the email. We cannot guarantee to hold this price for longer periods. Raw materials, especially paper and card are rising constantly. We do our very best to keep costs down.


Signing this agreement does not affect your statutory rights
